Out of the Woods, Original Framed Drawing
This one-of-a-kind, original drawing with watercolor is of a young blonde girl with my signature big eyes style. She is wearing a white dress that is stained with mud at the bottom from walking through the woods, which is featured in the background through the red curtains around her like a theater. She wears a cross necklace.
This artwork is about coming out of the confusion of self, symbolized by the forest, and knowing you are made clean by Jesus’ sacrifice. The hint of mud shows what she once was, but she is no longer dirty or guilty on the inside. The theater references the tearing of the temple curtain when Jesus died; she steps through it from the woods, which are sparkling and magical because the sacrifice is worth much more when she is self-aware of her sin.
This framed painting measures 9.75” x 11.75” in total and is shipped by the artist. with a certificate of authenticity.
